Parra Leagues have hosted the Tree of Joy initiative on Parramatta Mission’s behalf for over 20 years. In 2018 we started a new initiative of Buy A Bauble, where our patrons can purchase a bauble to go on our tree in the Club’s foyer. The funds raised go directly towards Parramatta Mission’s Meals Plus program, which provides basic needs and support to people who are homeless or disadvantaged.
Parramatta Mission’s services across Greater Western Sydney include the Meals Plus program, accommodation and assistance in mental health.
Most of us are privileged enough to enjoy special times in the company of people we love and care for. However, for the people under Parramatta Mission’s care, Christmas can be a very difficult time as they face homelessness, a crisis or are living with mental illness.
Buy A Bauble at Reception or CLUBSHOP for either $25 or $10 and write your name. It will be displayed on our Christmas tree at Reception.
This year the Club will not be a point for dropping off gifts for the Tree of Joy, however we encourage you to participate in our Buy A Bauble initiative.
