ABOUT KICKS

Kicks Tenpin & Arcade is a new entertainment venue, now open on Level 3 at Parra Leagues, next to Jacks Bar & Grill.

Featuring 7 lanes of tenpin bowling awesomeness, Kicks’ name pays tribute to our old nightclub of the same name from the 80’s – 90’s.

KICKS HISTORY

Kicks opened for the very first time at 8pm on Friday night 1st September 1989. The very first word spoken over a microphone on that night were “THIS IS KICKS NIGHTCLUB” by DJ Murray Dean.

Kicks was the biggest venue in Sydney holding a capacity of 2000 patrons at capacity!

Kicks was originally open 5 nights per week being Wednesday Thursday, Friday Saturday Sunday nights until settling down to 3 nights per week being Friday Saturday and Wednesdays for many years. Kicks was also open every night before a public holiday without fail.

Sadly, Kicks Nightclub closed at 3am on Thursday 1st January 1998 for the very last time, with the very last word over a mic being “GOODNIGHT” by David Chapple
